How It Works: Humidifiers

Humidification is the process of adding moisture to the air. Evaporative humidifiers are installed directly to your existing heating and cooling system. Water is supplied to a distribution tray at the top of the humidifier and is uniformly distributed across the width of the tray and down the water panel. Dry, hot air from your heating system is then moved through the humidifiers water panel. The water panel adds moisture to the air through evaporation. The humidified air is then distributed throughout your home.
